I really did not understand that having a retainer would get in my way so much.

I've just begun a rigorous jaunt into the world of orthodontics.  No friends, I am not going back to school.  I'm on a quest for straighter teeth!

Really really...this damned thing in my mouth feels HUGE!

I was taking much of this very lightly.  I recall getting my tongue pierced many years ago, and thought that having metal on my teeth would be similar to having metal in my tongue.  Oh right, I retired that piercing because it got in the way too often.

Wrong, I was sooooo wrong.  I was also wrong to start this just before Thanksgiving.  Dinner turned out beautifully, but wasn't able to eat as I wanted.

So what does all of this rambling mean?  It means that I won't be available until the oral sadists settle down a bit.  Don't be surprised if this means February or March.

There are factors of safety and comfort.  Hey, that's all you really need to know right? 

Maybe I'll have time to play with the website and camera a bit more in the near future!  I certainly won't disappear completely; hopefully I can entertain you from afar for a little while.
