We ALL do it!  We spend our days and our weeks so busy with all of the unique things that comprise our lives.  We strive to meet goals and do many things on the schedules that other people or systems put into play.  Hey, if you write to me, you're working with my schedules aren't you?

Urgent things are the time sensitive ones. They are the bills that need to be paid, the projects that are NOW, the errands and all the little big things that come up every single day. 

We live in an instant world.  We have a plethora of information and communication at our fingertips, but we too are expected to speed up in the chaos.  How much time do you spend on the important things when the urgent things are so consuming?

The important things are the ones that create laugh lines.  The important things bring you that too infrequent all encompassing joy.  I forget too...I forget all too often.  The important things are the ones that warm your heart.  They are the things you forget to say because you are thinking about your next meeting.  The important things are in those silly "a bajillion ways to make you happy and your damned preschool teacher taught you when you were 4" kind of books.  The important things are really connecting with people.  The important things are based on your heart and your words connecting.  The important things make us say wow and make us glow!
